How much more do you need confirmation that people are clueless and hate a strong female character when she stands in front of them. Greta Thunberg, the female autistic that started the schoolstrike for climate actions that took over the global youth, is repeatedly attacked because of her message, and her autism.
A lot of people think she is “deeply disturbed” and used by the far left media to spread, what they think, a hoax of a message to disrupt global economy (or whatever reason they happen to give… they keep shifting goalposts.)
I think it is really disturbing (as Greta herself notes) that they need to attack something that is inherent in her (her autism) because they can not stand her message or the fact that she is a strong female with a message, or just a strong female.
Sweden, known for their fictional autistic character Lisbeth salander and pipi longstocking, now has a real life strong female autistic person.
The hashtag #standwithGreta has been created to show support for Greta (by autistics, but anybody can join).

long long before Greta Thunberg there was a woman called Stefanie Weiss or – as the Lund University computing project called her – Freya.
She was my very first Swedish autistic hero in 2002 – after the terrible suffering and adversity she had from the 1970s to the very early 1990s.
My other Swedish Autistic hero is Gunilla Gerland – her new book is fabulous.
