E3 2018: Xbox

Xbox E3 reveals were huge. Sea of thieves is coming with a new expansion to the pirate adventure in July and september and will bring new mechanics and gameplay elements to the game. Obviously I was really stoked when I saw the trailer for that one.

Another big one for me was the reveal that Player Unknown Battlegrounds also now as Pubg, will get its full release in the winter of 2018 and with it will come two new maps to the game, in the summer of 2018 Sanhok will make its way to xbox and eventually the not yet titled winter map will come as well, with the full release of the game.

Gears of war 5 was shown and it looks awesome to say the least. I still have to finish the first 4 installments of the game, but this one will be on my to watch out for list.

Dying light 2 was one of my highlights as well as it was presented with a thing that interests me. Every decision you make in the game has concequences and will make your game a unique version of the world, as no 2 players will make the same decisions, thus their game world will be different.

Divisions 2 was shown as well and it looked great. The survival adventure game of which the first installment looked rather dissapointing will get a follow-up.

All new releases from Microsoft’ studios will be released on Game Pass as well, which is great news, as it is a cheap way to get your hands on the newest games, so you can test them, or keep playing them through the service, which compared to a full game, isn’t that much. As of today: Fallout 4 and the division 1 have been added to the collection of playable games.

Fallout 76 was shown as well, set in west-verginia will be a prelude to all the other fallout games and it looked stunning. Be sure to check this out.

Off course, more games were shown, but I am typing this from memory, but I have saved the best (for me at least) until last: Forza Horizon 4.

Forza Horizon 4 will be set in Great Britain and will with it bring a whole new way to play the game. Every player you meet in the game, will not be AI, but will be another player playing live together with you. It also brings a dynamic weather system, next to its stunning graphics, so it will give you a challenge in each of its seasons, as it affects how your car will behave. I have played Forza Horizon 3 extensively and loved it, and was looking forward to Forza Horizon 4 and sure will try to get my hands on a copy of it (or at a Game Pass description, as it will be available at launch on Game pass as well).
